The Absolute agent installer package for Mac devices contains four components:
  - Full Agent Installer package (.pkg)
  - Core Agent Installer package (.pkg)
  - Account metadata info
  - Readme text files

You can use the Installer interface or the command line to install the Absolute agent for Mac. After the agent is installed on the device, use the Agent Management Tool to verify the installation and test that the agent can connect to the Absolute Monitoring Center.
Note: For the installer to run successfully, the AbsoluteAgent.dat and AbsoluteAgent.sig files must be in the same folder as the .pkg file.
For detailed information about this version of the Absolute agent for Mac and how to install it:
1. Log in to the Absolute console.
2. Go to Settings > Agent Management.
3. To view the Agent Release Notes, click the Release Notes icon for the applicable agent version.
4. To view information about installing the agent and verifying its installation, search the Help for "Installing the Mac agent".
To download the Agent Management Tool:
1. Log in to the Absolute console.
2. Go to Settings > Utilities.
3. Click the Mac button.
4. Click the Download button in the Agent Management Tool section.
